2011 Scripture Theme

We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul - We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. Articles of Faith 1:13

Book of Mormon Costume Party

Thursday October 21st was our Book of Mormon Costume Party. We had fun building ship out of popsicle sticks, going on a Liahona Treasure Hunt, playing Book of Mormon Jeopardy and "hunting" with a sling shot and taffy ammo! Everyone looked fantastic in their costumes! We have a lot of creativity in our ward!

Water Party!

On Wednesday, August 25th the Young Men and Young Women got together for a splashing good time at a water party organized by the Beehives. First up was water balloon volleyball. The youth showed great style and finesse as they launched their balloons over the net. Next up was water kick ball. Everyone (including those standing in line) got soaked as runners slid into home plate on the slippin' slide. Check out the pictures!

The leaders were so impressed with how well the girls got along and worked together. We hope that your testimonies were strengthened and that you remember your experiences at camp for a long time to come.

A 3 Mile Hike???

While at the top of our mountain we were able to listen to a great devotional given by Sis. Crowther on Captain Moroni. We had our picture taken with our virtue banner and tied our pledges of virtue on the virtue stick.
